About the Owners

Prairie Butte Lodge was established in 2022. The lodge is currently owned by Derek and Kacey Long, who reside in Timber Lake, SD. The couple purchased this property with the intention to make it a family run business for years to come. Derek and Kacey are self employed ranchers and business owners. Together, they have 4 children; Bryson, Koleson, Haysley and Jetson. The family enjoys spending as much of their time outdoors as possible; fishing, hunting, working cows and the land, and exploring. They love sharing this lifestyle with their children and family.
